Royal Ascot – 1m2f Prince Of Wales’s Stakes (Group 1)
This is a cracking renewal of the Prince Of Wales’s Stakes, with many in with chances, but the one who is most interesting to me is the former Derby winner ADAYAR.
He came back to his brilliant best this season when he took four rivals apart at Newmarket on the seasonal bow. Taking it up 2 out and galloping them into submission was a performance of a very happy horse.
He has a half-length to find with Bay Bridge on last season running the Champion Stakes, but I have no doubt that he will.
Hasn’t won a Group 1 since taking the King George VI where he has Mishriff, Love, Broome, and Lone Eagle toiling in behind.
Expect a massive performance from Adayar at Royal Ascot.
Royal Ascot – 1m Duke Of Cambridge Stakes (Group 2)
The top of the market is dominated by Jumbly and Prosperous Voyage, which means there is value to be had away from them, and I think I have found just that.
To me, the value lies with Jumblys stablemate in HONEY GIRL.
If we go back and look at her last run where she was bidding for a hat trick she finished just over three lengths off Jumbly. Honey Girl was sent off 9/4 market leader that day and the price difference between the two are way off.
Yes, all her wins have been over 7f on ground the soft or worst, and there is a chance that there will be soft in the description come the off, and for that, I think she is a great each way bet at Royal Ascot.
At 14/1, she is well worth another chance to see out 1m on ground that is looking like will turn her favour.
