How I Got Into Racing – The Fan Base
A friend of mine lived on a farm that had a couple horses, spent a lot of time over at his house, wasn’t till later on in life when student races came around that I truly got into horse racing.
My Top 5 Horses of All Time
Marine Nationale- Massive fan of Barry Connell, remember sat watching my first Cheltenham last year around with all the lads and they were unsure who to back in the supreme, I said two words; Marine Nationale and that’s all she wrote.
Honeysuckle- The Queen of Cheltenham, this years success in the mares hurdle brought a tear to everyone’s eye.
Hewick- My friend when I was younger who grew up on the farm told me it’s impossible to win anything with a cheap horse, Hewick has defied this and more. was glad to see him back on his feet at Cheltenham .
Roi Mage- an underrated horse, the image that sticks in my head is Felix De Giles giving him a pat after a huge crucial jump .
