The Titan Has Landed

The day has arrive where Pimlico Racing and Willie Mullins are unleashing Ninth Titan on the National Hunt world.

This French import who once had run in the French Derby was shrewdly picked up by Nat and Tom for Pimlico Racing less than a year ago.

Declarations were made and there it is, Paul Townend jocked up. You’re thinking, well that’s obvious, but Willie has two more entered here, one who was 6th in the Punchestown Champion Bumper and one owned by Gold Cup winning connections. So for Paul to choose Ninth Titan it boards well for what the mystro of Closutton thinks of the newest Pimlico recruit.

Here’s what Pimlico Racing, and our very own Tom Raine had to say about the hurdles debut of Ninth Titan…

Looking forward to him making his debut, he’s taken to jumping well at home and is working as you’d hope a 98 rated ex french derby runner would!

He’ll need to settle but once he does hopefully he can run a nice race. His best form was on better ground in France so we’ll have to see how he handles the soft conditions today
