Today we are heading to Southwell over jumps, and then we take the ferry over to Ireland for a trip to Clonmel.
Southwell 3:18 – Lunar Shadow 9/2
A horse I backed myself the last time over hurdles where he was still traveling really well until he fell at the third last at Stratford.
Has gone in on the flat since, and back on this quicker ground over a track where he recorded one of his two hurdle wins, I can see him playing a massive role here.
Clonmel 7:25 – Wild Shot 4/1
When last seen on the flat Wild Shot was running away with a handicap at Tramore. Two runs over obstacles since have been met with a 3rd and 4th.
Back on the flat today with only a 4lb penalty (got away very lightly) for that win at Tramore, I can see him going in once again at the main expense of his old rival Walnut Beach.
